The Avernoza® Veil Smart Ceramic Fountain transforms a conventional pet fountain into a quieter and more considered part of the home.

Its broad Warm Ivory stoneware surface provides an open, shallow area from which cats can drink comfortably. At the rear of the basin, a low ceramic spout releases a thin, even veil of circulating water rather than a narrow jet or tall stream.

The water moves gently across the ceramic surface before returning to the concealed 3.2-liter reservoir below.

An internal filtration system helps collect visible hair, food particles and household debris as the water circulates. The removable ceramic drinking deck, concealed wireless pump and accessible reservoir are designed to simplify regular cleaning.

When paired with the Avernoza app, Veil can provide estimated drinking activity, water-level notifications, cleaning reminders and filter-replacement guidance.

The exterior is finished in Avernoza’s signature Deep Sage, while the drinking surface and spout use a Warm Ivory satin glaze.

A single Avernoza crest is permanently pressed into the front metal surface as a monochrome bas-relief.

THE VEIL WATER FLOW

Veil is named after its characteristic sheet of moving water.

Instead of releasing water through a tall faucet or narrow plastic nozzle, the low ceramic spout distributes the flow across a wider horizontal opening.

The result is a thin, continuous veil that falls gently into the shallow basin.

Cats can choose to drink from the calm front section, the softly moving central water or near the low spout according to their individual preference.

The flow is intentionally restrained to reduce unnecessary splashing and help keep the surrounding floor dry.

Final flow rate and sound-level claims must be confirmed through production testing.

A WIDE CERAMIC DRINKING SURFACE

The Warm Ivory drinking deck is made from glazed stoneware rather than exposed lightweight plastic.

Its broad oval form provides room around the face and whiskers, while the shallow water depth keeps the drinking area visually open.

Softly rounded internal edges avoid narrow corners where residue can become difficult to reach.

The ceramic deck lifts away from the base, allowing the drinking surface to be cleaned separately from the pump and reservoir.

Small variations in glaze depth and surface tone are natural characteristics of ceramic production.

3.2-LITER CONCEALED RESERVOIR

The main water reservoir is concealed beneath the ceramic drinking deck.

This keeps the visual design low and avoids a large transparent tank dominating the product.

A narrow smoked window on the right side allows the remaining water level to be checked without removing the ceramic top.

The 3.2-liter capacity is intended to reduce unnecessary refilling while still encouraging owners to replace the water regularly.

Capacity does not determine how long water should remain inside the fountain. Water should always be refreshed according to household conditions and the cleaning guidance supplied with the production model.

MULTI-STAGE FILTRATION

Water returning from the drinking surface passes through a replaceable filtration system before re-entering the circulation path.

The proposed filter structure includes:

• An upper mesh layer for visible hair and larger debris

• A high-density fiber layer for finer particles

• Activated carbon intended to help reduce unwanted taste and odor

• Ion-exchange material intended to help manage selected minerals

The filter does not sterilize water or make unsafe water suitable for drinking.

Always fill Veil with clean, potable water.

Filtration performance, supported reduction claims and filter materials must be validated before final publication.

CONTACTLESS WIRELESS PUMP

Veil’s pump is designed to receive power without an exposed electrical connector inside the removable water section.

This allows the reservoir and ceramic deck to be lifted away without disconnecting a wet internal cable.

The compact pump can be removed independently for cleaning.

A protective intake screen helps limit larger debris from entering the impeller area.

The pump should still be inspected and cleaned regularly. Mineral deposits, hair and debris can affect water flow and operating noise over time.

CORDLESS PLACEMENT

A rechargeable battery inside the base allows Veil to operate away from a visible wall cable when used in an energy-saving mode.

This makes it easier to position the fountain in a quiet location where the cat already feels comfortable drinking.

In cordless mode, the fountain can activate for selected intervals or when the approach sensor detects nearby movement.

For uninterrupted continuous circulation, the fountain should remain connected to its dedicated power source.

Any advertised battery duration must be based on the verified production battery, selected operating mode, activation frequency and household conditions.

CONTINUOUS MODE

Provides ongoing water circulation while Veil is connected to its power source.

Recommended for households where the cat prefers a continuously moving water surface.

SENSOR MODE

Activates the water flow when movement is detected near the fountain.

This mode is intended for cordless placement and reduced battery consumption.

INTERVAL MODE

Circulates water at scheduled intervals throughout the day.

Owners can adjust the operating schedule according to the final app functions supported by the production model.

SMART HYDRATION INSIGHTS

Veil is designed to record fountain activity through integrated water-flow and weight-sensing components.

The compatible app may display:

Hydration information is an estimate and should not be treated as a clinical measurement.

The fountain cannot determine whether water was consumed, displaced, evaporated or removed in another way with complete medical accuracy.

If a cat begins drinking substantially more or less than usual, contact a qualified veterinarian rather than relying only on app data.

NO CAMERA OR MICROPHONE

Veil monitors fountain activity without placing a camera above the drinking area.

There is no video recording, facial recognition or microphone.

This creates a visually quieter product and avoids introducing unnecessary recording hardware into the cat’s drinking space.

DESIGNED FOR THE HOME

Veil has been developed as a low architectural object rather than a conventional plastic appliance.

The Deep Sage base uses a finely textured powder-coated finish.

Its wide oval form provides a stable visual and physical foundation, while the Warm Ivory stoneware introduces a softer tactile contrast.

The power connection and charging contacts are positioned toward the rear to keep them visually concealed during normal use.

Only one indicator point appears beside the water-level window.

The Avernoza crest is centered on the front surface. It is stamped directly into the metal before the Deep Sage finish is applied, creating a permanent same-material relief rather than a sticker or printed decoration.

HOW TO SET UP

Remove the ceramic drinking deck and internal reservoir components.

Wash all approved water-contact parts using warm water and mild detergent.

Rinse thoroughly to remove any manufacturing or packaging residue.

Rinse the filter separately according to the supplied instructions.

Install the filter into its designated holder.

Position the wireless pump securely inside the reservoir.

Fill the reservoir with clean, potable water without exceeding the maximum line.

Return the ceramic drinking deck to the base.

Confirm that the spout and return channels are correctly aligned.

Connect Veil to power and run the first circulation cycle.

Discard the first full reservoir of circulated water if instructed by the final filter manufacturer.

Refill the fountain before introducing it to the cat.

Pair the fountain with the Avernoza app and select the preferred operating mode.

INTRODUCING VEIL TO YOUR CAT

Place Veil near the cat’s familiar drinking area.

Keep the previous water bowl available during the introduction period.

Begin with a gentle flow setting.

Allow the cat to approach, smell and investigate the fountain independently.

Do not place the cat’s face near the water or force interaction with the moving stream.

Some cats may drink from Veil immediately, while others may require several days to become comfortable with the sound and movement.

Remove the previous bowl only after the cat is consistently using the fountain.

DAILY USE

Check the visible water level every day.

Confirm that water is flowing normally from the ceramic spout.

Remove visible hair or debris from the drinking surface.

Top up only with clean, potable water.

Do not rely entirely on the low-water notification.

Replace the full reservoir regularly rather than repeatedly adding new water to old water.

Observe the cat’s drinking behavior and check that the fountain remains accessible.

Do not allow the reservoir to operate below the minimum water level.

CLEANING AND CARE

Disconnect Veil from power before cleaning.

Remove the ceramic drinking deck, filter holder, pump and reservoir components.

Discard the remaining water.

Wash the ceramic deck using warm water, mild detergent and a soft sponge.

Clean the internal reservoir and return channels thoroughly.

Open and clean the removable pump according to the supplied maintenance instructions.

Remove hair and mineral residue from the impeller and intake area.

Rinse every component thoroughly.

Allow all components to dry before reassembly.

Wipe the metal base using a soft, slightly damp cloth.

Do not submerge the metal base, battery, charging connection or electronic controls.

Do not use abrasive pads, metal brushes or harsh chemical cleaners.

Confirm dishwasher compatibility for individual components before placing them in a dishwasher.

FILTER REPLACEMENT

Rinse a new filter before installation.

A typical replacement interval may be approximately two to four weeks, depending on:

• Number of pets using the fountain

• Hair and household debris

• Water quality and mineral content

• Frequency of complete water changes

• Cleaning routine

• Continuous or intermittent operation

Replace the filter sooner if it becomes visibly dirty, damaged or unable to maintain normal water flow.

A filter replacement does not replace the need to clean the reservoir, pump and drinking deck.

IMPORTANT USE INFORMATION

Veil is intended for indoor use with clean potable water.

Do not use milk, broth, supplements, cleaning liquids or other beverages inside the reservoir.

The fountain does not refrigerate or sterilize water.

Keep the base and power connection away from standing water.

Position the cable where it cannot be chewed or pulled.

Do not operate the fountain if the base, battery, pump or power adapter is damaged.

Stop using a ceramic component if it becomes cracked or significantly chipped.

Veil does not replace daily observation of the cat’s water access and drinking behavior.
