Avernoza® Rill Filtered Water Carafe
Flow Series No.06 · 1.6L Borosilicate Glass Filter Carafe for Pet Drinking Water
SHORT DESCRIPTION
A considered way to prepare fresh drinking water for cats. Rill combines a 1.6-liter borosilicate glass carafe, a replaceable multi-stage filter and a precise-pour design in the signature Deep Sage and Warm Ivory palette of the Avernoza Flow Series.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Better Water Begins Before the Bowl
The Avernoza® Rill Filtered Water Carafe brings the same level of consideration to preparing a cat’s drinking water as the rest of the Flow Series brings to serving it.
Designed for use with potable household tap water, Rill passes water through a replaceable filter before it reaches the main glass chamber. The filter is intended to help reduce chlorine-related taste and odor, fine visible particles and selected substances covered by the final production filter’s certified performance.
Once filtered, the water can be poured into any clean cat bowl, fountain or gravity station.
The optically clear borosilicate glass body makes the remaining water level easy to see. A Warm Ivory top-fill lid allows the carafe to be refilled without removing the complete upper assembly, while the sculpted Deep Sage handle provides a stable grip during pouring.
Unlike an electronic purifier, Rill contains no battery, UV lamp, motor, display or wireless connection. It relies on replaceable filtration media and gravity, keeping operation quiet and straightforward.
The Avernoza crest appears once on the front of the metal collar. It is stamped directly into the aluminum beneath the powder-coated finish, creating a permanent monochrome bas-relief rather than a printed logo or attached badge.

DESIGNED FOR THE WATER BEFORE IT REACHES THE BOWL
Most hydration products focus only on the vessel from which the cat drinks.
Rill addresses the earlier step: preparing and storing a manageable supply of filtered water for daily refilling.
The 1.6-liter capacity is suitable for refreshing a standard water bowl, replenishing a fountain reservoir or filling a gravity station without carrying a large household water container into the feeding area.
The clear chamber allows owners to see the water before it is served and notice when the carafe needs refilling or cleaning.
PLANNED MULTI-STAGE FILTER
The replaceable Rill cartridge is designed around three filtration stages.
PRE-FILTRATION LAYER
A fine outer layer helps capture visible sediment and larger particles before water enters the main filtration material.
ACTIVATED CARBON
The activated carbon stage is intended to reduce chlorine-related taste and odor in compatible potable tap water.
ION-EXCHANGE MEDIA
The ion-exchange stage is intended to reduce selected dissolved substances according to the final cartridge specification and independent certification.
The exact substances reduced, filtration percentages and cartridge life must be established through certified laboratory testing. Claims should not be published solely on the basis of the filter materials used.
NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SAFE WATER
Rill is intended only for water that is already considered safe to drink.
It should not be used with water from lakes, rivers, untreated wells, rainwater, floodwater or another uncertain source.
Unless the final production filter receives specific microbiological purification certification, Rill must not be represented as removing bacteria, viruses or parasites.
Filtered water is not sterile and must still be stored, served and replaced responsibly.
BOROSILICATE GLASS CARAFE
The water chamber is made from transparent borosilicate glass rather than exposed colored plastic.
Glass provides a clear view of the water level and does not require permanent measurement markings or printed decoration on the exterior.
The softly tapered profile places more visual and physical weight toward the bottom of the carafe, helping it remain stable on a level countertop.
A Deep Sage silicone ring protects the lower glass edge and reduces direct contact with hard surfaces.
CONTROLLED POURING
The shaped spout is designed to create a narrow, controlled stream suitable for filling a shallow cat bowl.
The full-length handle provides room for the hand to maintain a stable grip while the carafe is tilted.
The lid remains secured during normal pouring, helping keep the internal filter assembly in position.
Do not overfill the carafe or pour at an excessive angle, as this may cause water to escape around the lid rather than through the intended spout.
WARM IVORY TOP-FILL LID
The Warm Ivory lid contains a discreet top-fill opening.
Water entering through the opening is directed toward the installed filter cartridge before collecting inside the main glass chamber.
The complete lid can be removed when installing a new cartridge or cleaning the carafe.
A fitted silicone seal helps keep the lid stable during pouring but does not create an airtight or pressure-resistant vessel.
FILTER-LIFE TARGET
The production target for one Rill cartridge is:
Approximately 150 liters / 40 gallons
or
Approximately 60 days after first use
whichever occurs first.
Actual filter life will depend on source-water quality, frequency of use and total volume filtered.
The cartridge should be replaced sooner if:
• Water flow becomes unusually slow
• Taste or odor returns
• The filter becomes visibly damaged
• The cartridge has been unused while wet for an extended period
• The recommended replacement period has passed
Final filter-life claims must be confirmed through production testing.
A QUIET PART OF THE FLOW SERIES
Rill does not replace a drinking bowl or fountain. It works alongside them.
Use Rill to refill:
• Avernoza ceramic water bowls
• Avernoza Veil Smart Ceramic Fountain
• Avernoza Still Gravity Glass Water Station
• Avernoza Dew Passive-Cooling Ceramic Bowl
• Avernoza Trace Smart Hydration Bowl
• Other clean, suitable pet drinking vessels
This gives customers a practical connection between several products in the Flow Series without requiring every household to use the same drinking system.
MATERIALS AND DESIGN
The upper collar and handle use Deep Sage powder-coated aluminum, creating a durable structural frame around the glass vessel.
The lid and filter housing are finished in Warm Ivory food-contact polymer.
The contrast between transparent glass, Deep Sage metal and Warm Ivory components connects Rill visually to the rest of the Avernoza collection.
The front crest is stamped into the aluminum before the Deep Sage finish is applied. It remains monochrome, tactile and permanently integrated into the product.

Allow water to pass through the cartridge.
Do not fill above the established maximum water line.
Close the fill flap.
Hold the handle firmly and pour filtered water into a clean cat bowl.

Do not return water from which a cat has already drunk to the carafe.
CLEANING AND CARE
Remove the filter cartridge before washing the carafe.
Hand-wash the glass chamber with warm water, mild detergent and a soft bottle brush or sponge.
Wipe the Deep Sage metal collar and handle with a soft damp cloth.
Wash removable lid components according to the supplied instructions.
Do not wash the active filter cartridge with detergent.
Do not place the complete carafe in a dishwasher unless specifically approved for the production model.
Do not use abrasive pads, metal brushes, bleach or harsh chemical cleaners.
Allow the carafe and lid to dry before reinstalling a filter.
Do not microwave, boil or freeze the carafe.
Avoid sudden temperature changes that may damage the glass.
DAILY WATER HYGIENE
Filtered water should be treated as fresh drinking water rather than long-term stored water.
Empty and refresh the cat’s drinking bowl daily.
Wash the drinking bowl regularly to remove saliva, hair and surface residue.
Clean the carafe on a consistent schedule rather than waiting for visible deposits to form.
If the filtered water develops an unusual appearance, odor or taste, stop using it and inspect the source water, cartridge and carafe.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Rill does not make unsafe water safe.
Use only cold potable household tap water unless the final filter certification approves additional sources.

Do not place pet medication inside the carafe or filter.
The filtration cartridge is not intended for consumption and should be kept away from pets and children.
