The Avernoza® Haven Sculptural Cat Side Table brings human furniture and feline comfort together in one considered architectural form.

From the outside, Haven appears as a softly rounded contemporary side table. Its pale ash tabletop provides a practical surface for a book, lamp or everyday essentials, while the Deep Sage metal body coordinates with the wider Avernoza collection.

Inside, the lower structure becomes a private retreat for the cat.

A broad asymmetrical entrance opens into a softly lined resting chamber containing a removable Warm Ivory wool-blend cushion. The enclosed sides create a greater sense of visual protection than an exposed pet bed without closing the cat inside or restricting its view of the room.

The side ventilation openings support natural airflow through the chamber, while the generous front entrance allows the cat to enter, turn around and observe the surrounding room comfortably.

Haven is designed to sit naturally beside a sofa, lounge chair or bed. Instead of asking owners to add a visibly separate pet bed to the room, it gives an existing piece of furniture an additional purpose.

The Avernoza crest appears once on the lower front of the housing. It is physically pressed into the metal before the Deep Sage finish is applied, creating a permanent monochrome relief rather than a printed logo, sticker or attached decorative badge.

Haven serves as both:

A PROTECTED PLACE TO REST

Many cats naturally choose partially enclosed spaces when sleeping or observing activity in the home.

Haven creates this sense of separation through its curved shell and softly lined interior while maintaining a large open entrance. The cat can see the room, leave whenever it chooses and remain close to the people using the surrounding furniture.

The retreat does not contain a moving door or locking component.

Its interior is intentionally simple, with no hanging toy, loose cord or narrow compartment that could interfere with rest.

THE ASH TABLETOP

The tabletop is made from furniture-grade ash with softly rounded edges and a clear matte protective finish.

Natural wood grain makes every tabletop slightly individual. Subtle variation in grain direction and tone should be expected and is part of the material rather than a manufacturing defect.

A narrow shadow gap separates the wooden top from the metal body, giving Haven a lighter visual profile while maintaining a stable connection to the internal frame.

The top is intended for normal side-table use, including books, small lamps and personal items within the verified production load limit.

THE INTERIOR CUSHION

The included cushion combines a supportive foam core with a tactile Warm Ivory wool-blend cover.

Its shape is designed specifically for the internal floor of Haven so that it remains neatly positioned without creating excessive gaps around the sides.

The zippered outer cover can be removed for cleaning according to the final care label.

Replacement cushions and additional covers may be purchased separately, allowing one cover to be cleaned while another remains in use.

VENTILATION AND ACCESS

A group of narrow ventilation openings is positioned toward the side and rear of the housing.

These openings help maintain passive airflow without making the retreat feel exposed from every direction.

The large front entrance provides the primary airflow and access route. It is shaped with generously rounded edges so that the cat does not come into contact with a sharp metal corner when entering or leaving.

PLACEMENT

Place Haven on a firm, dry and level indoor floor.

The product may be positioned beside a sofa, lounge chair or bed, provided the cat entrance and ventilation openings remain unobstructed.

Leave sufficient space in front of the entrance for the cat to approach and turn comfortably.

Do not position Haven directly beside a heater, fireplace, radiator, air-conditioning outlet or area of prolonged direct sunlight.

Avoid placing it in damp rooms or locations where water may collect beneath the base.

INTRODUCING HAVEN TO YOUR CAT

Install the cushion and place Haven in a familiar, quiet area.

Allow the cat to inspect the product independently. Do not push or physically place a cautious cat inside the chamber.

A familiar blanket or an item carrying the owner’s scent may be placed on top of the cushion during the introduction period.

Small treats may be placed close to the entrance, but uneaten food should not be left inside the retreat.

Some cats may use Haven immediately, while others may require several days to become comfortable with a new piece of furniture.

CLEANING AND CARE

Remove the cushion before cleaning the interior.

Vacuum loose hair from the cushion and wool-lined surfaces using a low-suction upholstery attachment.

Remove the zippered cushion cover and wash it only according to the final production care label. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it.

Wipe the powder-coated metal housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

Clean the ash tabletop using a soft cloth. Remove spills promptly and avoid allowing liquids to remain on the wood surface.

Do not use abrasive brushes, metal pads, bleach, solvent cleaners or harsh chemical products.

Do not submerge the housing or saturate the interior lining.

TABLETOP USE

Use coasters beneath drinks and protective pads beneath lamps, ceramics or decorative objects.

Do not place open flames, burning candles, cooking appliances or excessively hot objects on the tabletop.

Avoid placing an uncovered very hot drink above the product while the cat is resting inside.

Haven is not designed as a stool, step, bench or human seat. Do not sit, stand or allow children to climb on the tabletop.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Inspect the tabletop connections, housing, entrance edges, ventilation openings, cushion and feet regularly.

Discontinue use if the housing becomes significantly dented, the tabletop becomes loose, the cushion foam is exposed or any edge becomes sharp.

Do not block the ventilation openings.

Do not attach cords, hanging toys or electrical cables to the product.

If an electrical lamp is placed on the tabletop, keep its cable secured and outside the cat entrance.

The final tabletop load, recommended cat weight and structural performance must be confirmed through production testing before publication.
