A more considered way up—and down.

The Avernoza® Rise Convertible Pet Steps create a series of broad, evenly spaced landing surfaces between the floor and raised household furniture.

Rather than using steep, narrow carpeted stairs, Rise provides three deep platforms with Warm Ivory wool-felt traction pads. The lower rise between each level is designed to make the sequence easier to approach for kittens, smaller cats and cats that prefer not to make one large jump.

Each step is constructed as an individual rounded module. The two lower modules slide into the tallest rear section when the full staircase is not required, reducing the product to a compact furniture-like block.

Recessed side handles make the modules easier to position without introducing protruding hardware. Concealed runners guide the nesting movement and help keep the steps aligned in the full configuration.

Exactly one Avernoza crest is embossed into the Deep Sage metal face of the lowest step.

Rise is an accessibility aid, not a medical device. It does not treat joint conditions or guarantee that a cat will avoid jumping.

CONFIGURATIONS

Full staircase:

Extend all three modules and align them in ascending order beside the bed or sofa.

Compact configuration:

Slide the lower modules into the tallest section when the stairs are not required. The resulting compact block may be used as a light footrest but is not intended as human seating.

Separated platforms:

The modules may be positioned individually as low landing points, provided every section remains fully supported on a level floor.

PLACEMENT

Position Rise on a firm and level floor with the highest module close to the intended bed or sofa.

Minimize the horizontal gap between the highest step and the furniture. A large gap may encourage the cat to jump sideways rather than follow the intended route.

Confirm that all modules are fully extended, aligned and locked before use.

Do not place Rise beside unstable furniture or at the top of a staircase.

INTRODUCTION

Allow the cat to investigate the lowest step first.

A familiar blanket or small treat may be used to encourage gradual exploration. Never pull or force a cat up the steps.

Supervise initial use and observe whether the selected placement suits the cat’s normal movement pattern.

CLEANING AND CARE

Vacuum the felt pads regularly.

Remove detachable pads and clean them according to their final care labels.

Wipe the ash and metal surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep water away from the internal runners.

Remove hair and debris from the nesting channels before sliding the modules together.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Rise is not a human staircase, step stool or child’s climbing product.

Do not stand or sit on the steps.

Inspect the runners, locking points, tread panels, felt pads and feet regularly.

Stop using the product if any module slides unexpectedly, rocks on the floor or develops a sharp edge.
