In a multi-cat home, every cat can have different needs. One may eat too quickly, another may need a carefully measured diet, while a quieter cat may simply need more time to finish without interruption.

The Avernoza® Halo RFID Selective Feeder creates a calm, protected feeding space for one authorized cat. When the registered RFID collar tag approaches the feeder, the access shield opens automatically. After your cat leaves, the bowl is covered again to discourage other pets from reaching the food.

Designed as part of the Avernoza Nourish Series, Halo combines personalized access technology with a sculptural powder-coated metal body, a removable ceramic bowl and a discreet integrated weight sensor.

PERSONALIZED RFID ACCESS

Halo responds to the dedicated RFID tag worn on your cat’s collar.

As the authorized cat enters the feeding area, the feeder recognizes the tag and quietly retracts the access shield. When the cat moves away, the shield returns to its closed position.

This selective access system is especially useful for:

A MORE PEACEFUL MULTI-CAT ROUTINE

Traditional open bowls can create competition, interrupted meals and inaccurate portion tracking. Halo gives each cat a more clearly defined place to eat.

The curved canopy creates visual separation without fully enclosing the cat. Smoked translucent side panels preserve an open feeling while reducing distractions from nearby pets.

For homes with several specialized diets, we recommend using one Halo feeder for each cat requiring protected access.

INTEGRATED WEIGHT MONITORING

A concealed weight sensor beneath the ceramic bowl helps monitor the amount of food placed inside and the approximate amount consumed.

When paired with the compatible control system, Halo can support:

REMOVABLE CERAMIC BOWL

The included bowl is made from glazed ceramic rather than exposed plastic.

Its smooth, non-porous surface is comfortable for sensitive whiskers and easy to remove for regular cleaning. The low-profile interior provides open access to food without forcing the cat’s face into a narrow or excessively deep bowl.

The warm ivory glaze creates a refined contrast against the deep sage housing.

TRAINING MODE

Some cats may need time to become comfortable with a moving access shield.

Halo’s gradual training process allows the shield to begin in a more open position. Over several days, the movement can be introduced progressively as your cat becomes familiar with the feeder.

Place familiar food inside the bowl, allow your cat to explore without pressure, and reward calm interaction. Never push or physically place a nervous cat inside the feeding area.

SETUP

1. Position Halo on a dry, stable and level surface.
2. Insert the clean ceramic bowl into the weighing platform.
3. Connect the feeder to its power adapter.
4. Register the included RFID collar tag.
5. Attach the tag to a properly fitted breakaway safety collar.
6. Add your cat’s usual food.
7. Begin with training mode before activating full shield movement.
8. Monitor the first several meals to ensure comfortable access.

CLEANING AND CARE

Remove and wash the ceramic bowl after wet-food meals and regularly when serving dry food.

Wipe the housing, canopy and access shield with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse the feeder body, motor assembly, sensors or power connection in water.

Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals or metal cleaning tools on the powder-coated finish.

Confirm dishwasher compatibility for the ceramic bowl on the final product packaging before machine washing.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Halo is not refrigerated. Wet food should not be left inside longer than recommended by your veterinarian or local food-safety guidance.

The access shield helps limit access from other pets, but it does not create an airtight food-storage environment.

Use only the supplied or officially compatible RFID tag. If the tag is removed, damaged or incorrectly positioned, automatic access may not function.
