A quieter place to disappear—and reappear.

The Avernoza® Fold Wool-Felt Play Tunnel creates a protected path through the room without introducing the bright synthetic fabric and exposed wire normally associated with collapsible cat tunnels.

Its S-curved body forms two gently offset arches. The shape allows a cat to enter from either end, pause inside the central section or observe the room through the integrated side opening before emerging.

The tunnel’s dense felt shell softens everyday sound and gives the structure a warmer, more substantial feel. A Warm Ivory inner layer brightens the enclosed space, while pale ash entrance ribs help maintain the opening shape.

Unlike lightweight tunnels that roll and slide across the floor, Fold uses a broad base profile and concealed anti-slip protection to remain more composed during normal play.

When the tunnel is not needed, the flexible body folds into a flatter form and is held together by the included vegetable-tanned leather retention strap.

The Avernoza crest appears once on the leather strap as a true debossed mark pressed into the material.

DESIGNED AROUND NATURAL PLAY

Fold supports several different forms of everyday interaction.

Cats can run through the tunnel during active play, wait inside before pouncing, retreat into the shaded middle section or use the curved walls as a temporary resting place.

The offset side port creates another visual route through the tunnel without adding a dangling component that may be chewed or detached.

For interactive play, move a suitable wand toy past the entrances or side opening. Always store the wand separately after the session.

PLACEMENT AND USE

Position the tunnel on a dry, level floor with both entrances unobstructed.

Allow the cat to investigate at its own pace. Do not push or place a cautious cat inside.

For initial introduction, place a familiar toy or a small dry treat close to the entrance rather than deep inside the tunnel.

Fold is not intended to support human weight or to be used as a carrier. Never lift or move the tunnel while a cat is inside.

CLEANING AND CARE

Vacuum the felt regularly using a low-suction upholstery attachment.

Remove loose hair with a soft lint brush. Treat small marks promptly with a clean, slightly damp cloth and allow the felt to air-dry fully.

Do not saturate, bleach, tumble-dry or machine-wash the complete tunnel unless expressly approved for the final production version.

Wipe the ash ribs with a dry or lightly dampened cloth.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Inspect the felt, ribs, fasteners and strap regularly.

Discontinue use if structural parts become loose, if the felt tears sufficiently to expose internal components, or if the cat persistently chews and consumes fibers.
