The Avernoza® Arc Rocking Scratch Lounger is designed around the full-body movement that often accompanies horizontal scratching.

Its elongated crescent surface gives a cat enough room to place the front paws, pull through the shoulders and extend across the natural-sisal center. The curved base responds with a restrained rocking movement, adding a subtle balance element without behaving like an unstable toy.

For cats that prefer a completely stationary surface, the included adjustable stops limit the rocking movement and convert Arc into a grounded scratch lounger.

The broad center section also creates a gently curved resting surface after play. Pale ash side rails frame the replaceable scratch insert, while Deep Sage end caps protect high-contact edges and visually connect Arc to the Play Series.

The Avernoza crest appears once on the outer ash rail. It is carved directly into the wood as a monochrome relief.

TWO MODES

Rocking mode:

Remove or retract the stabilizing stops to allow a shallow, controlled movement as the cat shifts weight across the surface.

Stationary mode:

Engage the stops to limit movement. This configuration is recommended for initial introduction, cautious cats and cats that prefer a fixed scratching surface.

Introduce Arc in stationary mode first. Once the cat is comfortable, rocking mode can be tested under supervision.

REPLACEABLE SCRATCH SURFACE

The sisal center is designed as a replaceable wear component.

When the scratching fibers become heavily frayed or the underlying structure begins to show, the insert can be removed using the protected fasteners beneath the lounger.

Replacement surfaces allow the main ash and metal structure to remain in use rather than requiring the entire product to be discarded.

CLEANING AND CARE

Vacuum loose fibers and hair from the sisal surface.

Wipe ash and metal sections with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not soak the wood, saturate the sisal or use harsh chemical cleaners.

Check the rocking rails, stops, fasteners and floor protectors regularly.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Position Arc on a firm, level indoor floor.

Do not place fingers, cords or small objects beneath the rocking edges during use. The product is not a seat, rocker or climbing toy for children.

Discontinue use if the wooden rails crack, the fasteners loosen, the stops fail to engage or the scratching insert separates from its mounting surface.
