Avernoza® Accord Dual-Reserve Smart Feeder
Nourish Series No. 06 · Dual-Hopper Automatic Feeder with Customizable Meal Blending
SHORT DESCRIPTION
Two foods. One considered routine.
Accord stores two varieties of dry food in separate sealed chambers and allows each meal to be created using independently controlled portions from either reserve—all served in a removable Warm Ivory ceramic bowl.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A More Flexible Approach to Automatic Feeding
Not every feeding routine relies on one type of food.
Some cats are gradually transitioning from one formula to another. Others receive a measured combination of two compatible dry foods, while some households prefer to serve different food at different times of day.
The Avernoza® Accord Dual-Reserve Smart Feeder is designed around those more considered routines.
Its two 2.5-liter food chambers remain completely separate, allowing each reserve to store a different compatible dry food. Independent dispensing mechanisms release portions from the left chamber, the right chamber or both chambers according to the saved meal schedule.
A broad Warm Ivory ceramic bowl receives both portions within one open feeding surface.
Accord’s horizontal twin-reserve structure makes its purpose immediately clear while maintaining Avernoza’s restrained architectural language. Two Deep Sage metal chambers, two sealed ceramic-colored lids and two discreet food-level windows form a balanced appliance designed to sit naturally within the home.
No camera or microphone is positioned above the feeding area.

TWO INDEPENDENT FOOD RESERVES
Accord contains two separate food chambers rather than one large container divided only at the top.
Each reserve has its own lid, seal, food-level window and dispensing path.
The left chamber can be filled with one compatible dry food and the right chamber with another. Meal settings determine which reserve is used and how many portions are released from each side.
This allows owners to create routines such as:
• Left reserve only for the morning meal
• Right reserve only for the evening meal
• A measured combination from both reserves
• Gradually adjusted ratios during an approved food transition
• One primary food with a smaller portion of a compatible topper kibble
The feeder should not be used to combine foods that require different storage conditions or that have not been recommended for the individual cat.
CONTROL EACH MEAL SEPARATELY
Accord does not require every scheduled meal to use the same combination.
For each feeding time, owners can select:
• The dispensing time
• The number of portions from the left reserve
• The number of portions from the right reserve
• Whether only one chamber should be used
• Whether an additional manual portion may be released
Saved schedules remain stored locally after setup so planned dispensing can continue during a temporary Wi-Fi interruption.
Electrical power or functioning backup batteries are still required for automatic dispensing.
A MORE CONSIDERED FOOD TRANSITION
When a cat changes from one dry-food formula to another, the transition is often carried out gradually rather than replacing the entire meal immediately.
Accord can support an owner-directed transition by storing the existing food and the new food separately.
The number of portions released from each chamber can then be adjusted over several days according to the transition plan provided by the food manufacturer or veterinarian.
Because kibble pieces vary in size, shape and density, portion counts should not be treated as exact nutritional weights.
Measure the actual output from both chambers before relying on a new schedule.
INDEPENDENT DISPENSING SYSTEMS
Each food chamber uses a separate rotating portioning mechanism.
The two dispensing paths converge above the ceramic bowl without combining food inside the storage area.
This separation helps prevent one food from continuously mixing with the other while stored.
If resistance is detected, the mechanism can reverse briefly before attempting to complete the dispensing cycle.
No automatic feeder can eliminate every possible blockage. The bowl, chutes and dispensing history should still be checked daily.
SEALED STORAGE
Each food chamber closes with its own flush Warm Ivory lid.
Silicone sealing surfaces help limit unnecessary exposure to household air and moisture, while a protected desiccant compartment can be incorporated beneath each lid.
The two narrow smoked windows allow remaining food levels to be checked without opening the chambers.
Accord is designed for dry food only. The storage chambers are not refrigerated and should never be filled with wet, moist or freshly prepared food.
REMOVABLE CERAMIC BOWL
The serving bowl is made from Warm Ivory glazed stoneware rather than exposed lightweight plastic.
Its wide, shallow interior provides an open eating surface while allowing the two food portions to mix naturally as they are dispensed.
The bowl lifts independently from the feeder for serving and cleaning.
A replacement ceramic bowl may be purchased separately, allowing one bowl to be washed while another remains available.
DESIGNED WITHOUT A FEEDING-AREA CAMERA
Accord is intended for owners who want intelligent scheduling and dual-food control without placing a camera or microphone above the feeding bowl.
The discreet central control strip displays only essential operating indicators.
Feeding history is based on dispensing activity rather than recorded images or video.
Accord can confirm that a dispensing cycle was completed, but it cannot independently confirm that a particular cat consumed the food.
A DISTINCTIVE TWIN-RESERVE FORM
Accord is not designed to disguise its dual-food function.
Two matching Deep Sage chambers stand side by side, separated by a narrow central line. Each chamber has its own Warm Ivory lid and smoked food-level window.
The lower dispensing bridge directs both portions toward the central ceramic bowl.
Unlike a conventional transparent plastic hopper, the storage chambers are enclosed within finely textured powder-coated metal shells.
The front cradle remains low and open, allowing the ceramic bowl to be removed without moving the main appliance.
The Avernoza crest appears once at the center front. It is stamped directly into the metal housing beneath the Deep Sage finish, creating a permanent monochrome relief rather than a printed badge.

HOW TO SET UP
Wash and completely dry the ceramic bowl before first use.
Place Accord indoors on a stable, level surface near a suitable power outlet.
Insert backup batteries if this function is included in the final production version.
Position the ceramic bowl securely inside the front cradle.
Open both food-chamber lids.
Fill each chamber with the intended compatible dry food without exceeding the maximum level.
Do not place food inside a chamber while any component remains damp.
Close and secure both sealed lids.
Connect the feeder to power.
Download the Avernoza app and follow the pairing instructions.
Confirm the correct local time and time zone.
Label the two reserves inside the app so they are not confused during scheduling.
Run several supervised manual dispensing cycles from each chamber.
Measure the actual quantity dispensed by both foods before creating the full schedule.
CREATING A MEAL SCHEDULE
Select a meal time.
Choose the number of portions required from the left reserve.
Choose the number of portions required from the right reserve.
Review the combined estimated amount.
Save the meal and repeat the process for the remaining feeding times.
Observe the first several automatic cycles to confirm that both selected foods dispense correctly.
Small variations are normal because kibble density and shape influence the amount released during each rotation.
DAILY USE
Check both food-level windows every day.
Confirm that the bowl and both dispensing openings remain clear.
Review the dispensing history for incomplete or interrupted cycles.
Refill each chamber before it becomes completely empty.
Do not add new food continuously over old food without periodically emptying and cleaning the chamber.
Measure portions whenever changing kibble type.
Always provide fresh drinking water separately.
The feeder supports an established routine but does not replace daily supervision.
FOOD COMPATIBILITY
Accord is intended for dry kibble that moves freely through the dispensing mechanisms.
Do not place the following inside either food chamber:
• Wet or moist food
• Homemade food
• Food requiring refrigeration
• Sticky semi-moist pieces
• Excessively oily kibble
• Powdered supplements
• Loose liquid flavoring
• Pieces larger than the validated kibble range
• Freeze-dried pieces that exceed the validated dimensions
Powders and supplements should only be added directly to the serving bowl when appropriate—not stored inside the dispensing chambers.
CLEANING AND CARE
Disconnect Accord from power before cleaning.
Remove the ceramic bowl and wash it separately using warm water, mild detergent and a soft sponge.
Allow the bowl to dry completely before returning it to the cradle.
Empty both food chambers before removing washable food-contact components.
Clean the left and right chambers separately to avoid mixing food residue.
Remove crumbs and food dust from both dispensing paths.
Allow every food-contact component to dry completely before refilling.
Wipe the metal exterior using a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Do not submerge the feeder body, motors, control strip or power connection.
Do not spray water directly into the dispensing bridge.
Avoid abrasive brushes, metal pads and harsh chemical cleaners.
Check the final product instructions before placing any component in a dishwasher.
IMPORTANT USE INFORMATION
Accord is designed for compatible dry food only.
It does not verify whether two foods are nutritionally appropriate when combined.
Consult a qualified veterinarian before changing a prescription diet, combining therapeutic foods or making significant changes to a cat’s feeding plan.
Do not represent automatically dispensed portions as laboratory-accurate weights.
Different kibble shapes and densities can produce different amounts from the same portion setting.
The feeder does not confirm which pet consumed the food.
Accord should be checked every day, even when automatic feeding appears to be operating normally.
Keep the power cable away from areas where it may be chewed or pulled.
Stop using the feeder if either mechanism becomes damaged, wet or unable to dispense reliably.
